News: CHER PLOTS TO COVER 60'S CLASSIC HIT SINGLES

CherCher will re-cycle classic songs from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Otis Redding among others as a tribute to old times when she still listened to a transistor radio.

Cher plans to enter recording booth to cover 1960s classic songs for her forthcoming studio album. Spilling the beans on the matter, she reveals that she wants to re-cycle hit singles from such musicians as The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Otis Redding.

"I'm planning an album of all these great songs from the '60s that I've never covered before," Cher said in an inteview. "It was such a magical time for music - groups like The Beatles, The Hollies, The Zombies, The Kinks, the Stones [The Rolling Stones] and singers like [Bob] Dylan and Otis Redding."

When asked how she comes up with such idea, Cher shared that she wants to pay tribute to the nostalgic times when she used to listen to a transistor radio. "I want to pay tribute to a time when I used to listen to music on my little transistor radio or on my AM radio in my Ford Mustang," she explained.
